Coffeehouse Angel by Suzanne Selfors

Title: Coffeehouse Angel
Author: Suzanne Selfors
Release Date: July 21, 2009
Summary: From the author of Saving Juliet comes a romantic comedy that is good to the last drop. When Katrina spots a homeless guy sleeping in the alley behind her grandmother’s coffee shop, she decides to leave him a cup of coffee, a bag of chocolate-covered coffee beans, and some pastries to tide him over. Little does she know that this random act of kindness is about to turn her life upside down. Because this adorable vagrant, Malcolm, is really a guardian angel on a break between missions. And he won’t leave until he can reward Katrina’s selflessness by fulfilling her deepest desire. Now if only she could decide what that might be . . .

Review: I have heard really good things about this novel so I was very excited to start it.
Coffeehouse Angel has to be one of the cutest books I've read in a long time. There are a great number of books having to do with angels being released but I like how Suzanne Selfors put an original touch to it. Also the setting was just awesome and I was craving some hot chocolate after.
I really didn't see Katrina falling in love with Malcolm. I think it all just happened too fast. Also, the ending had me completely confused. Again things happened too fast for my liking.
But other than that it was a completely cute winter read in the summer. It made me miss the snow and yeah you probably think I'm weird for that. I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. My contest for this or Ballads of Suburbia ends on Tuesday so don't forget to enter!
Happy Reading!
